CUPERTINO – Sophomore Maeve Lynch scored a pair of goals to help lead No. 8 state-ranked Cañada College to a 4-1 Coast Conference win at De Anza College on Tuesday.
With a 6-0-2 conference record, the victory secured the Colts the Coast Conference South Division championship. For head coach Katie Perkins, it marked her squad's second conference title over the past three seasons.
Tuesday's win also moved Cañada to 12-2-4 overall and extended its unbeaten streak to 14 games.
Lynch knocked in her fourth and fifth goals of the season. Isabella Eaker also scored for the Colts, her second on the year.
Elisabeth Bray and Kira Bondi split time in goal for Cañada in earning the win.
Just two games remain in the regular season for the Colts. They host Hartnell College on Friday (Nov. 7) and close against Gavilan College next Tuesday (Nov. 11).
