Bio

Nick Milkovski is currently the Assistant Coach at Cañada College in Redwood City and has been with the Cañada Colts since 2022. During his tenure, he has contributed to three consecutive winning seasons and three playoff appearances, including advancing to the second round of the state playoffs as a lower-seeded team and reaching the Final Four of the state championship in 2024.

Prior to joining the Colts, Milkovski spent four years as an Assistant Coach with the West Valley College Vikings Men’s Program under Head Coach Gaspar Silveira. Before beginning his coaching role with the Vikings, Milkovski played under Silveira from 2012–2014.

Milkovski began his coaching career at Carlmont High School, where he graduated in 2012. From 2012–2016, he served as an Assistant Coach for both the JV and Varsity Men’s soccer teams. During that time, the Carlmont Scots’ Varsity program earned four playoff appearances.

Milkovski’s accomplishments throughout his football career include undefeated seasons, high school league titles, and college conference championships. Most notably, he has been instrumental in scouting, recruiting, and developing players, as well as guiding them to succeed at the next level.

Milkovski currently holds a UEFA ‘B’ License through the German DFB, a USSF National ‘B’ License, a National Diploma, and multiple Special Topic Diplomas from United Soccer Coaches, as well as a Level 1 Certification through the Professional Football Scouts Association. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from San José State University and completed his Master’s degree in Soccer Coaching at Ohio University. In addition to his role at Cañada , Milkovski previously spent two years coaching the U17 and  U19 NPL and U19 MLS X2 teams at SVSA Palo Alto Soccer Club, where he developed and graduated players to the collegiate level.
