SALINAS – Justin Moore scored 22 points while Jake Skaggs nearly posted a triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists to help lead Cañada College to a 92-71 rout at Hartnell College on Wednesday.
The non-conference win evened up the Colts' overall record at 2-2 this season.
Cañada had six players score in double figures, including all five starters. Moore's 22 points were a season-high. He also added 6 assists.
Xavier Moore was solid off the bench by earning a double-double of his own with 11 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Darius Jackson scored 13 points, Shawn Acosta had 12 points, and Mateo Jackson contributed 10 points, 5 assist, and 4 rebounds.
Cañada is back in action on Friday (Nov. 14) when the Colts host Monterey Peninsula College in a non-conference game.
